I am taking metformin thrice a day 250 mg. My blood sugar is under control. But metformin creates side effects and I get nausea and forced to vomit every three days can you suggest alternative medicine.

Therefore, some people are advised to take it after food. That can reduce the side effects suh as you have complained about.
