Hello. Mam. You are only thirdteen years old. The dental caries if in primary teeth means, you can wait till two years for the eruption of second molars. In case of dental caries in permanent teeth means, go for restoration. If the caries is deep means, you can do root canal treatment. I advice not to do extraction because, you are younger age and root canal treatment is better thn replacement of artificial teeth after extraction. Thank you.

If the cavity have not reached the nerve level if there is no infection at the base of tooth if there is no swelling, fever then after removing all the carious part, dentist will check while working. If it is not deep then dentist can fill it up .and tooth can be treated without root canal.
