My father's age 50 has haemoglobin:- 5.7,since one year its level is not increasing, 6-7 months ago doctor transfuses blood and given iron injection and tablet but then too its not increased and recently doctor said that patient has iron deficiency, either iron is not forming in the body or its eliminating through poop. What can be possible reasons of iron not forming in the body, and this much decrease in blood. (my father had piles 5-6 years back and he operated, and now he denies for blood loss in poop). So is there any reason for blood not forming in the body.
