Clinical information: painful lump right lower outer quadrant. On antibiotics. Findings: palpable lower outer quadrant painful lump of concern reveals an ill-defined heterogeneous area of 24.5 x 14. 1 mm.no increased vascularity on color doppler interrogation. No fluid collection. Rest of the both breast shows normal fibro-glandular echopattern. No suspicious solid-looking mass or cyst is seen bilaterally. No discernible calcifications are seen. Lactiferous ducts are not dilated. Axillary lymph nodes are not enlarged bilaterally. Impression: suggestive of focal fibroadenoslc changes, bi-rads category 2. This is my mother’s usg report, should biopsy be done for this? Can this be cancerous or any surgery needed? What should be the treatment. Please help.
