Complex tear involving the posterior horn of medial meniscus and extending to the body and which is reaching the inferior articular surfaces .there is mild joint effusion. Abnormal high signal changes seen medial to the medial collateral ligament suggesting grade 2 tear. Enthesopathic changes of patella with moderate patellar chondromalacia with fraying and superficial ulcerations and thinning of patellar cartilage. What is this report says? Pls reply what is treatment for this!

Respected Lybrate user. Firstly I thank full to you. Because sharing your report. It describes how your knee injured. You compulsorily" take some precautions like weight reduction, change / modify / manage your daily work, consult orthopedician or if already done. Then urgently needs treatment either conservative or surgical. After that should take physiotherapy at regularly. Must be take rest at least 3 weeks and use knee cap / knee brace should prescribed by your doctor. Regular check-ups are required after treatment and it is necessary at least 6 months.
