I am 18 years old. Yesterday I took my first dose (covieshield )from apollo hospital (14th june. Now I am having a fever and headache. They prescribed me dolo650. But the fever is recurring back after a few hours of taking it. Can you suggest me any other medicine?

Dear user this medicine is the safest medicine to be taken for fever. Since we still don't know the interactions which other medications might have with the vaccine, it will be safe for you to take paracetamol 650 mg from any brand whichever you prefer, and preferably not more than 4 tablets in a day. The fever due to vaccine will recover in 1-3 days. Till then take plenty of fluids and rest. Thank you.

Give it a day or two, the fever and body ache will resolve. You can repeat dolo 650 upto 3 times a day. Unless you are having a really high fever or facing other symptoms like running short of breath - there is no need to worry.
