Hello sir/maam, as per my usage (ultrasound) of the neck, the report says things are normal except for one thing. There's a solitary enlarged nonnecrotic lymph node seen in my right upper neck. What does that mean?

Lymph nodes can be swollen either due to an infection or due to a tumor in a nearby or related part of the body. It depends upon which lymph node has been affected and will help to narrow it down to which cause it might be. If it is due to an infection, it will resolve once the infection is cleared, else other causes will need to be looked into. Also if you could clarify why you had an usg neck in the first place, it will definitely help. To discuss your problems further and plan a course of investigation and treatment, you can have an online private consult with me regarding the same.
