I have pcos and my hormonal levels be like tsh-4.81 mueiu/ml, fsh-4.84miu/ml, lh-5.9miu/ml, prolactin-7.08 ng/ml, amh level is 10. 36 ng/ml and gyn told me these all normal hormonal ranges and so she suggested me ovabless last time now she given letrozole to conceive .plz tell me these ranges are normal or not and letrozole help me to conceive for this first time of trying pregnancy .3 years continue I took birth control pills so suffering from tablets please suggest me to conceive better.

Yes these ranges are fairly normal. Tsh should be less than 2.5 while trying to conceive. Chances of conceiving depends on various factors like your scan status, husband semen test etc. So since you have pcos you need to try using letrozole to help you in egg development. Continue the ovabless and excercise along with healthy lifestyle and diet to reduce your weight. Pcod is characterized by anovulation and letrozole induces ovulation. But the dose required varies from person to person and hence it should be taken only if you can get folliculometry done around d10-11 of your period to see if ovulation is taking place. Letrozole can induce ovulation but cannot guarantee conception as that also depends on the male factor.

Hello lybrate-user 1st of all you said you are pcos if so then 1st step is to reduce weight as early you can. And yes letrozole is option for ovulation but it will work better if you focus on weight. And monitor ovulation.
