Hi Dr. My mother is 40 years old and she is loosing so much hair from last some months, reason unknown to us, and she also feels pain in her head whenever she ties her hair with rubber band or clip for sometime. Please tell some home remedy and medicine or oil for this.

Diffuse hair fall can be caused by multiple causes like prior stress, prolonged illness, enviornmental pollution, nutritional deficiency and endocrinal factors. First of all avoid trauma, heat and cosmetic products on hairs, avoid use of shampoos containing sodium laurayl sulphate, take diet rich in proteins and vitamins. You can take nutritional supplements with 10mg of biotin. You can do hair massage with argan oil.
