Have had abdominal cramps for ages now, over 5 years. Has recently gotten really bad to the point where I can not perform normal daily tasks. Was going to go to the doctors right before the first lockdown and have not managed to go yet. It's not clearly linked to dietary changes (e.g I have tried several months of no lactose, or different diets to incorporate more fiber, etc.). Have also had chronic diarrhea for a while now for a while. On the rare occasion, I do not have loose stools, I will be constipated and not pass anything for 2 maybe 3 days, this stool will be hard/painful to pass, and will be very dark brown/ black-ishh in color. On occasions sometimes at work during a flare-up, I cannot move and sometimes get really light-headed and feel nauseous. I have tried over-the-counter medications such as buscopan, and mebeverine to ease symptoms and pain with no luck.
