Hi lybrate-user! seborrheic dermatitis also called dandruff. Moreover, dandruff is something which is not just external but is linked to your diet, hormones etc. Usually, from the age of puberty to adulthood, oil glands will be very active and can cause repeated inflammation. So, dandruff can be controlled in this age group and not cured completely. Use ketoconozole containing shampoo like head and shoulders, scalpe etc to control dandruff. Reduce oily foods, non vegetarian foods, sweets and chocolates ,dairy foods to control dandruff. Sometimes, psoriasis may overlap with dandruff. Please get an online consultation or consult your local dermatologist for best results.
