And the only way to prevent the infection is not coming in contact with the virus. Budecort is a steroid used for lung disease and it reduces the lung damage caused by infections. Hello lybrate-user sekhar, in some research papers it is provided that budiecort is used for treatment of corona and in latest guidelines also it included that budecort should be used if cough or fever persits for more than 5 days it depends upon the treating doctor whether he uses or not but individually without any docotor consultation you should not take because it should be given at the right time if it is given early then it may cause harmful effects rather than helping and if it given late then there is no use of it.
