Dear user, the more water you drink, the more you will urinate. This is very good for the kidneys and the bladder. However polydypsia (increased thirst) can be a sign of high sugar. And in case of high sugar you must be started on medications to control your sugar levels. The veltam tablet is for the urine flow. You have to take a fbg, rbg and ppbg to assess your sugar along with hba1c. You can consult me for more doubts regarding this online by clicking on my photo and booking an appointment however, if you found my answer helpful, please leave a positive feedback as it helps me with my practice. Thank you.

Hello Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. By drinking more water you do urinate more. But the main reason for feeling thirsty is having high blood glucose. That needs to be well controlled. Since, you have not mentioned most important parameters like FBG, PP glucose, HbA1c%, lipid profile, dietary pattern, weight, height, extent of daily exercise, serum creatinine & urea. Please come back all the mentioned details then I will be to guide specifically to help control blood glucose. Ideally Fasting glucose should be < 100 mg or closer to 100mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6 5%. I hope you understand. So pleasedocome back with all information. Thanks.
