Hii, I have a acne problem and dark spots ,so my dermatologist has suggested me kojiglo forte cream. If I want to apply any moisturizer after applying cream ,so how many minutes later should I apply moisturizer or its not necessary to apply after it? And can I also apply retinol serum on alternate days.

Dear lybrate-user, thank you for your query. Kojiglo forte is a skin lightening cream that may help your dark spots. Patients with acne generally have oily skin and do not need moisturizers. In fact moisturizers are usually not recommended in acne, unless you are using some medication (s) which is/are making your skin very dry. One need a proper assessment of your acne before prescribing anti acne treatment. The same goes for retinol serum as well. Before you meet a dermatologist for a better evaluation, you can follow these tips: 1. Do not prick or squeeze your pimples 2. Do not apply any oily cream 3. Protect your skin form sun (use umbrella, big hats, sunscreens) 4. Wash your face frequently 5. Do not use over the counter medicines/creams that may contain steroids. Hope, these tips are helpful.
