Hello, I have been suffering from Tinea I took treatment and discontinued it recovered. Now again my skin started get darker day by day that when I noticed it has started from today I have started with onabet, cosvate, biluma for pigmentation ,swet powder nd protein gel. My infection had already spread to the body. There are few skin change in the intimate area also. Coconut oil should be applied after taking bath or before. And please mam let me know this treatment for face. Because even face is getting darker.

Hi. You can continue using onabet cream if there is active tinea infection. Cosvate cream is not used to treat hyperpigmentation, it wil damage your facial skin. Better to use moisturizer on face for tinea induced darkening. Use coconut oil after bath. Visit dermatolgist for proper assessment of skin condition and treatment accordingly. Thanks.

Stop cosvate cream immediately. Using a steroid cream for fungal infection not only increases the infection but also spreads it to other parts of the body. Send your pics on personal chat box and accordingly prescription will be sent.

You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs, groin and buttocks area. It is also called jock itch. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Mistreatment with over the counter steroid containing creams like fourderm, panderm, quadriderm, dermi5, cloben g betnovate, dermikem oc, candid b etc lead to repeated case of recurrence and also side effects due to application.
