If I have been advised to take 10 units of 40 iu insulin using 40 unit syringe, then how many units of 100 iu insulin do I need to take witj 100 unit syringe.

Good question but the answer is simple.Problems come up when the Insulin is 40 iu and syringe is 100 iu or vice versa.When you use the SAME IU syringe and needle, you deliver the dialed or filled dose.That means with both 40 iu or 100 iu syringe you should fill upto the mark which reads 10 and it will deliver 10 units.
