Hi, doctor, I am 59 years old, non diabetic, have bp since 15 years. My bp is 135/100 in the morning and 155/110 in the night. Presently I feeling pain in the middle of the chest since yesterday night. While walking few yards I feel breathless ness and heart beat going up to 120ppm. At present I am using telma ct 40 mg, 1tb,pan d 40 mg 1tb in the morning, stamlo 2.5 mg 1tb in night. Kindly advice is there any problems. I have no fever, no cold or cough. And daily morning one hour I do surya namaskarams, and breathing exercises. Thank you.

Me. lybrate-user your bp records seems to show bp in higher range. Because of your uncontrolled bp you may feel some breathlessness also. At your age it is also advisable to rule out possibility of coronary artery disease also. My plan for you would be 1) first to control your bp optimally 2) get few investigations such as renal function test/ thyroid function test / blood sugar 3) ecg/ 2 d echo 4) tmt after your bp control. I would like to see your bp record for 3 consecutive day morning before breakfast and evening before snacks. Your bp records will help me to modify your treatment. You can get back with your bp records and said investigations.
