Hi. I understand your concerns. Asthma is a chronic and common allergic condition causing symptoms. It is curable but can definitely be controlled so that you can lead a symptom free life. You will need to undergo pulmonary function test which is required for the diagnosis as well as to assess severity of asthma based on which treatment can be titrated. You will need to be under regular follow up with your pulmonologist for the same. Hope your questions were answered. Thanks.
