I am 21 year old male and suffering from scabies for last month I am use gamascab lotion 4 days ago but itching continues and became worse at night and new rashes seen in my body in elbow, shoulders,belly area, fingers,thigh, and private area and scotrum is very itchy. Can I use permethrin cream 5%?if any other cream/ lotion is better than this so please tell me. And any oral medicine for scabies itching also suggest me. I am very worried now and very nervous I am fully cured aur not.

I presume the problem is seen by a physician or a skin specialist and hope gamascab was prescribed by a doctor. If itching has become immedately after applying for the first time, possibility of allergy has to be suspected. When area is extensive it is better that you take all medications under the instructions of a skin specialist. Since treatment for itching, secondary bacterial infection, selection of most appropriate applying cream lotion, soap etc is done. Antiscabies tablets are also available. Possibility of contact, recurrence and chronicity has to be dealt with. Patience is necessary as cure may be sometimes delayed.
