I am having fungal infection in pubic area for a long time now, earlier it was cured (i thought) but still, it is there. There is very bad itching, and once I start itching, the area becomes reddish. Earlier, in starting of 2019, I was prescribed fluka tablet (1 month course) and it was helpful. Now, there is no ring worm type raised skin, just itching and reddishness, and also, it looks like one layer of skin is removed in that area. Also, now, there is a round mark on my penis's skin also, which sometimes itches. I always try to keep that area dry, and apply anti-fungal powder (mycoderm) when it is too much. I also apply some skin cream sometimes. Is there any way to cure it permanently?
