I'm suffering from psychosis for the last 4 years and consuming anti psychotics like risperidone, olanzapine, diazepam.actually reason for this problem is uncertainty in my love life. My girlfriend's family is not accepting us. That was the reason for psychosis. Last month I saw her and she is still ok with me and she looks so normal since when I see her first time. Today I saw her but I am unable to recognize her and she was looking like unknown person to me. Is there any problem with me because of medication? Her family is forcing her to marry her brother in law. Is there any problem in her like depression or any other? Totally I am confused. I am still loving her but unable to recognize that she is my girl. Kindly suggest me a better solution because I thought I have trouble with my mind. I am so scared about this thing. Is it any side effect of anti psychotics?

Hi. Good day. Experiencinguncertaintyin relationshipis a stressful situation. As you said her family is not accepting your relationship and forcing her to marry someone else. So it may be one of the reason of her changed behaviour. You can ask her clearly about this matter. You may take counseling and psychotherapy. It will bring clarity in your relationship. Counseling aims to help patients change their thinking patterns to develop a more positive outlook on life. Not only can this help to treat mental health issues such as depression and anxiety, but it can also help to clear the mind and make it easier to think straight, even when feeling stressed.
