My finger joints are getting red bcz of frequent hand wash and use of hand sanitizer due to covid 19. I also tried natural gloves but it sweats alot and trigger redness. I hav applied corticosteroid like fluticasone and also tried lobate gm for 2 days it didn't worked for me. I am suffering from seborrheic dermatitis and fungal infection from long time tht is in control with the help of homeopathic medicine that I am taking from 2 years.

Hi! nowadays, most of the patients are suffering from hand irritant dermatitis. Definitely, hand washing is important to prevent from corona. Better to use liquid cleanser containing cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol cleanser like cetaphil or episoft cleansing lotion for cleaning hands. They are mild in nature. Use coconut oil or an edible cooking oil before doing any kitchen or wash room work. Try to avoid contact with detergents and other chemicals directly in touch with your hands. Do not use fluticasone for a longer period as it per se can cause dryness. Use a thick oil based moisturising cream and not lotions frequently to hands. Unless all precautions are not followed properly you mayn't appreciate the results. Please try to post pictures to assess the severity and if needed will advise some blood tests.

Use mild soap. Also apply 2 drops of coconut oil (when ever possible) whenever u wash ur hands.
