I am 25 year old, had one month pregnant, and need an abortion ,doc prescribed me mifepristone and misoprostol ,after taking misoprostol I am having light bleeding and loose motion ,after 4 hr should I wait or rush to the hospital as I have heard th�re should be heavy bleeding .within 4 hrs. But I am having light.

You can wait for one more day if no bleeding you consult your doctor get usg done for evidence of intrauterine or extra uterine pregnancy. If tubal pregnancy you may not get bleeding and sometimes in uterine pregnancy you may not abort after taking kit.

Its ok even if you have light bleeding .the process has started. You should have continuous bleeding. If only one month then the bleeding may be slightly excess of your normal menstrual bleeding. Once your bleeding stops completely get done acheck usg scan for retained products. Usually within 10 days everything gets cleared.

It means that abortion process has begun, so wait bleeding might increase.in case of heavy bleeding use tab trapic mf and after two weeks get an ultrasound done to ensure complete abortion.

Hi lybrate-user. Please get a scan or if it is already done send me the report a. So based on the report I can guide u. We should rule out if the pregnancy is in the tube or inside the uterus. After taking medicine within 24 hours bleeding will start. But if the bleeding is heavy please see your doctor.
