My baby who is 9 months old had problem of spit up like curdled since birth but it was cured by itself on 6th month itself. By the 6 month of age, as I offered cow milk with adding water, diarrhea 4 times green color cloudy and mucus and large quantity of vomiting happened thrice on a same day. So paediatrician sir understood the symptoms and told about it's case of dairy intolerance. I have offered paneer and curd too same thing happened. We are very tensed. Neither of us nor any members in our families have this kind of allergy. Now for a try I offered 3-4 drops of buffalo ghee with rice on daily basis since last week, but shown no consequence so with happily I offered paneer yesterday again diarrhea and vomiting started. Can't see my child like this. After 3 months I saw his vomits so feeling so depressed. He was on exclusive breast feeding. Now I am giving him family food. Also his birth weight was 3.75 n now 9th month weight is 9 kg. Playful and active child. Will it be cured? Tell me when to give dairy products? What can I do to cure this problem of my son? Please guide me. P.s I am on regular diet. No cut on diary items. Still giving breast milk only. No side effects of dairy which I consume.

It seems a case of lactose intolerance. It doesn't happen with ghee. It can happen to anyone. Do not worry. Continue breast milk till he is 2 years old and if he is not showing any problem with it. Start giving him solid food apart from milk, paneer and curd. If you eat egg then give him 1 egg yolk. Introduce 1 food at a time and give it in small amount. Instead of milk you can give him whey powder but start with 1 tsp in water.
