I am taking dulcolax for constipation on regular basis. Is it safe? Any side effect.

Dear Lybrateuser, -Usually dulcolax is used for short term 2-3 days or maximum 5-7 days in case of constipation, long term may cause severe diarrhea with loss of fluids & electrolytes, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, abdominal cramps - do not self medicate, consult a doctor & then use it as advised.
