My Mom was suffering from some allergic reactions (redness and swelling on her cheeks and sometimes on her nose). She is still having the same problem and after ige test was done the result was 584. She also had itching problems on those areas. Skin is quite dry now (white flakes on cheeks, chin and nose area can be observed sometimes like that of dandruff). Please advice me what can I do in this situation. Is there any need of avoiding proteinaceous food or some other food? Or avoid dust?

These substances are known as allergens, and when your body reacts to them, it causes an allergic reaction. Let's have a detailed discussion for better advice and medication plan.
