My diastolic bp always remain between 90 and 100, but systolic between 120 and 130. Is there any abnormality in this? Or is natural? One year back I was diagnosed with hypertension and currently taking medicines telmisartan 40 twice daily cilnidipine 10 once daily having tiredness after increasing the dose of telmisartan recently. Having dizziness in the morning. Kindly advice on diastolic bp elevation.

While your systolic reading is ok, diastolic reading is high. With your problem of dizziness, you need personal examination. Please consult your local physician for checkup and advice.

Your diastolic is definitely on higher side. But dizziness is side effect of cilnidipine. You need to consult your attending physician or consult online for details.
