I am a dm type 2 patient for last 10 years, and also hypertensive for last 20 years, and on medication. Earlier I used to be extra particular about my sugar levels, and I used to be able to keep my hba1c level between 6 and 6.5, but with a few episodes of hypoglycemia. Then, on the advise of my physician, I started keeping a bit loose control. My latest hba1c report reads 7.3. Please let me know what levels for fasting and pp sugar levels, and also of hba1c are acceptable for a diabetic as per latest research. Thanks regards.
