I earlier use glycomet 1gm but Dr. change with glycomet gp 1fort. When use glycomet 1gm my sugar was 197 bt after use glycomet gp 1 forte app 3 months today my sugar 244 random. Which medicine is best for me.

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Glycomet 1gm contains only metformin 1000 mg and the other tablet contains glimiperide 1 mg with 1000 mg of metformin. So the second tablet is much stronger in action and should be able to give a better glucose reduction. I am a bit surprised that with a better combination your glucose level has increased. So I feel there is a need to look at overall treatment including following details: fasting, pp glucose levels, hba1c%, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, bp readings and lipid profile.
