I am 46 years old. Having depression since last 16 years. I am using paroxetine 50 mg, lamictal 300 mg and buspin 10 mg daily. Depression eased after starting lamictal, before that antidepressant alone did not help much. The problem is I get strange /weird dreams in sleep and shout loudly in the sleep and use abusive language etc in my dreams .this problem is more pronounced if I miss any of these medicines. I know very much that these medications causing this problem. I never had this problem before my depressive episodes. Because of these dreams eventhouh I feel I slept I don't feel fresh and energetic after waking up in the morning like others. It is evident that quality of sleep is poor because of sleep disturbance. Kindly advise any suitable treatment to avoid these night weird dreams and shouting etc, do that I can have deep sleep. Regards.
