Dengue fever is a typr of viral fever, it is caused by the bite of dengue virus infested mosqiutos which are usually active in day time. The disese is usually have a high fever only for 1 or 2 days. Then we will find weekness and vomitiing in some cases, but mostly you will find generalised weekness, then in very few cases you will find a rash on the body say any where which is red and itches severely. On bllod investgations you will find only platelet count decrease but it is very dangerious. The platelets in the blood help in cloting the bllod and prevent from blood leak. So if the platelet count is low it may cause bleeding from any where of the body. Management for dengue is to take plently of liquids and fruits.

Dengue is cause by mosquito k/a aedes egypsi. It usally bits in day time. You can have variey of syptoms common ones are: fever usually high grade more than 100degree celcius, fatigue, anorexia, body pain, joint pain, restlessness. Sometimes chest infection also its very important to diagnose it for which a doctor will ask you for some tests. To diagnose dengue antigen in tour blood and will also look for your platelets levels. Precautions: use mosquito nets, mosquito repellants, coil etc at home keep your home clean and avoid collectikn of water near by eg coolers pots etc coz the mosqito breeds in water in case you have fever consult a doctor and get your tests done drink plenty of oral fliuds like coconut water plain water juices ets.
