My 23 years old obese (111 kg) daughter is suffering from anxiety and depression for last four years. Apart from many medications taken during initial stages, she has recently taken d-veniz (100 mg), prothiaden (75 mg) & toficalm (100 mg) for gad and mdd for more than one year but there is no improvement. Whatever medications she takes, she feels no change and hence no any betterment. Now, an another psychiatrist has just prescribed her fluoxetine (20 mg), desvenlafaxine (100 mg), (flupentixol+melitracen) and clonazepam (0.5 mg). He says she has the anxiety more than depression. She has just started the medicines. Has anything gone wrong in diagnosis or she is the resistant to drug/depression? May I kindly request you to kindly suggest me the right course of action we should take along with the duration in which she may recover fully.
