Thanks a lot for your query!! As a nutrition expert I would not suggest you to take iron supplement, unless you are severely deficient in iron. You can include iron rich foods in your diet like green leafy vegetables, fruits like pomegranate etc. have good amount of iron. To enhance the absorption of iron you need to add vitamin c rich foods or citrus fruits in your diet like lemon, amla, oranges, sweet lime etc
