Is it compulsory to check hep b vaccine antibody titre? Because I put the vaccine 5 years back and didn't check it? So am I vaccinated or not? If we didn't check it then are we not vaccinated against the virus? And how many days can hbsag blood live outside body and cause infection when exposed to air? How many days can hiv live outside body when exposed to air?

In blood hiv can live but in air they die immediately yes hbv vaccine can give life long immunity. So usuaaly booster dose is not required. In risk exposed patient like doctors first we check antibody titre then give vaccination if needs.
