Hello Doctor, I took ziprasidone as well as amisulpride last night. Today, I am more active towards my work. However from few days, my mood is not good towards work. I did not want to do work. Today I am good in work. So I got the benefit from ziprasidone. Can we take ziprasidone life long? Is there major side effects of taking ziprasidone long term? Thank you!

Ziprasidone, as well as amisulpride, are an atypical antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. You have a serious psychosis and hence you need drugs until your psychiatrist says to stop.
