My 6 years old boy is suffering from severe dental pain. He wants to remove the tooth which are infected by cavities. Does it cause any cancerian disease at older age?

Severe tooth pain means infection in the certain tooth region. It also have cavities problems. For that consult endodontist dental surgeon for that. If cavities are cured by filling or rct its good as well otherwise it needs to be extraction.

Hi Lybrate User, Thanks for the query. Extraction of the tooth never leads to any cancer like situation in future. My advice is if tooth is saveable save it for better alignment of permanent tooth other wise get it extracted and relax.
