I had nissan fundoplication 7 months back (01.10.18) for severe acid reflux (grade c esophagitis, ineffective esophageal motility) endoscopy done on 18.05.19, report-grade a esophagitis. My question is even after 7 months why is it still grade a.is it normal? How long will it take to completely get cured? Kindly tell.

You have chronic (long-standing) esophagitis and hence still grading is shown. Several grading systems are used to evaluate the severity of esophagitis. The most commonly used system is the los angeles classification system, which lists four grades. Grade a grade b grade c grade d.
