- the most important thing is to avoid direct exposure to sunlight for long & to be sufficiently hydrated
- avoid moving in the su after 10-10.30 am till evening
- carry a water bottle & keep sipping water throughout the day, also have fresh fruit juice /coconut water, avoid more than a cup of tea
per day as it can lead to fluid loss
- wear loose, light coloured cotton clothes to reduce sweating
- try to be under fan to cool the body by sweat evaporation.
