I'm a 30 years old unmarried woman. My hb is just 5.6 and my doctor suggested having manoll health tonic for a month. Do I need to take some iron supplements too?

Hb 5.6 is too low, and you definitely need some treatment other than tonic. Though iron deficiency is the most common cause for anemia, but there are other important and serious causes of anemia including thalssemia and hemolytic anemia, which must be ruled out by clinical examination and proper blood tests. So before taking iron tablets, you must consult with hematologist at once for proper diagnosis and rapid treatment according to the test results. Hope it will clarify your doubts. Thanks.
