Hello doctor, I am suffering pcod. I am married. Age:26, trying to conceive. Today I had ultrasound scan (2 nd day of my period) my doctor was about to give letrozole 2.5 my from today. But after the scan, she told me to wait for another 3 cycles (45 day cycle. And gave me only primolut -n tablet. My previous doctor also asked me to do the same for 3 months for 28 days. I just got my period, but didn't ovulate at all. Then she gave hcg injections. Still I didn't ovulate. Finally she said that I should go for laparoscopic surgery. Later on I am taking treatment from another doctor as my husband don't want me to get operated. But I am very doubtful that why she my present doctor didn't start letrozole today. Please say me. I don't know how to cure my cysts. I am really depressed for waiting another 3 cycles. My elder sister also had cysts and she got lap. Surgery. Is surgery essential for me.
