Firstly are u using a hard brush? if yes shift to a soft bristle brush and use vertical strokes instead of horizontal strokes. Scaling and mouthwash can take sometime to show results, say around 15 days, and diabetes can delay the healing process so patience is very important. If the bleeding doesnt subside or reduce in 15 days of proper scaling then u need to get some blood tests done.

Hello , Bleeding gums is caused by inflammation of the gums due to local deposits on the teeth (plaque) and exaggerated response seen in patients of systemic disease. Treatment remains the same but maintenance of the oral hygiene very meticulously is a must even if it bleeds somewhat so that the condition doesnt worsen. U should brush your teeth properly with the technique advised by ur dentist and do flossing after brushing at least twice. This will help. Thanks n healing regards., Bleeding gums

If routine scaling, polishing along with routine oral prophylaxis is done .Then I suggest a course of Metrogyl or Flagyl 400 mg taken three times a day
