HI, I have a pain in right knee with crackling sound while climbing steps subsides after brisk walk, some time loose balance ,don't understand whether it is arthritis, rheumatic arthritis, or osteoarthritis, or something else?

Possibly osteoarthritis. Get xray both kness AP and lateral view done. Avoid squating (avoid using Indian style toilet). AVOID sitting cross legged. Start Quadriceps exercise with some physiotherapist help.
