Hi. I have a doubt Is intermittent fasting advisable? My trainer suggested me to go with intermittent fasting to reduce the belly fat I have. Intermittent fasting is the one in which people eat for just 8-10 hrs a day like, they start eating at 4 PM on the afternoon and continue till night or they eat till 4 PM and fast from that time till night.

For weight loss, it is good but if you are doing workouts, it is not desirable. Can try for some time. Better options are: Step 1. Avoid packed food like bread, biscuits, namkeen, wafers, soft drinks, juices, cakes, ice-creams etc. Also avoid all bread based foods like burgers, sandwich, pizza etc. Step 2. Have at least 2 fruits and 1 plate of salads every day. Step 3. Workout for at least 30 mins daily.
