I am suffering from dandruff over the past three years. I already consulted a dermatologist who said that it is a fungal infection (tinea capitis). He prescribed me ketoconazole shampoo and lotion. But I am still having dandruff problem. Moreover, recently from past three months, I am having white patches near the scalp, just above forehead. Also scalp is becoming reddish when I am taking a head bath. But there are no flakes on those reddish patches, but there is dandruff on those reddish patches. Also the reddish patches slowly disappear in 48 hrs. Am I suffering from psoriasis? please help me. I am scared.
