Hi. .I have what appears to be a boil almost on the upper part of my scrotum near by penis and above my testicles. It's about a quarter in size now and began as an itchy dry type area and then in the past two days has turned into a rather alarming stiff ball like area that does not appear to have any head though it is red and irritated probably from me poking at it and is slightly painful but I'm afraid it will grow larger or that it could be serious. I've noticed online dk gel is recommended for people with similar issues and I wondered if you think I should try this treatment or something further or if I should seek out a medical doctor. I am very sexually active and hiv+ though undetectable and I've had most everything but this seems new and strange. Almost like a slow growing mrsr. Please advise. I currently have no health insurance and am unemployed so any over the counter remedy would be greatly preferable to trying to find a doctor. At least as a first attempt before trying to seek medical attention. Thank you for any suggestions you may have.
