Having a fasting sugar of 157 might indicate that you have the beginning of diabetes. You didn't state your age. If you are young, it could be diabetes type 1 or, if you are older, it could be the beginning of diabetes type 2. Both can be successfully treated if you are diagnosed early enough. Pleese get a check up at your doctor's.
