Hii thanks for the query first of all be relaxed, because 72000 platelets means its not fatal. Because in dengue platelets can goes upto 20000 or below, n according to you its a 7th day of acute symptoms means now onwords it will be recovery phase in which normally platelets gradualy increases. N second thing itching n rashesh all over the body is one of the sign of dengue and it will goes of within few days after increasing of platelets. First in this situation tell her to avoid hard brushing. Avoid straining during stool. So that bleeding should not occur in any way. Main thing is keep body hydrated. Drink lot of liquids. Plane water, coconut water. Best foods for dengue are papaya, kiwi, brocolli which is best source of vitamine k, pomegranate which is good source of all neutrients & minerals for good energy, spinach is also good for dengue.
