HI, My wife has underwent the first ultrasound scanning today. It is found that there are 3 gestational sacs. Sac-1 is about 1.01 cm and 5 weeks 5 days. In Sac-2 yolk sac & foetal pole is seen, cardiac activity is 141 bpm, CRL is 1.10 cm and 7 weeks 1 day and GS is 1.61 cm and 6 weeks 3 days. Sac-3 is 1.13 cm and 5 weeks 6 days. What will be the outcome? Is there any complications of getting aborted? Will it be a twin or triplet or a single healthy baby? If it is a twin or triplet, will all the babies be healthy?

Hi Right now as per this report it's a triplet pregnancy but on single scan it's difficult to comment the outcome, repeat scan to be done after 2 weeks to see the growth .As their is discrepancy between one sac with live baby and rest showing age less than that chances are more towards singleton pregnancy. Take due precautions and follow the advice for your doctor all the best.
