Hi sir, I am 23 year old female having temporal lobe DNET which is non progressive and getting absence seizures past 15 years. My first seizure episode was at the age of 3. I used tegrital 200 for 14 years and changed to oxetol 6 months back. I am getting the seizures whatever the medication I take, like once or twice a month for around 10 seconds. I am fine with that. Never faced any problem in my due to seizure as I get back to normal in a few seconds. I'm taking oxetol 450 twice a day. The question is that should I go for surgery? Is it necessary? I'm fine to have the medication forever. Awaiting your reply.
