I am suffering from hormonal acne.. Andi went to the dermatologist. He prescribed me a medicine. And two retinoid and asked me to skip dairy products and sugar. I did all of that. But my acne is worsening. I don't know what to do? Whom should I visit for this condition of mine? dermatologist or gynaecologist? Or some hormone specialist? Please help. I cannot waste more money on medicines that is not working for me.

Acnes are because of some internal problem. By applying soap/ face wash/ ointments, its not going to get treated. As soap etc only remove dust etc on external surface. To prevent pimples, eating fresh fruits, green vegetables, drinking plenty of water should be an essential part of your routine and intake of oily fried foods, an excess of sugar-salt should be avoided.
